Harry Kane leads race for the Golden Boot of World Cup
Kathmandu . England’s captain Harry Kane surpassed to the top of the 2018 FIFA World Cup goal scorer charts on Sunday, smashing a hat-trick against Panama to overtake Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) and Romelu Lukaku (Belgium).
Kane, who now has five goals in two matches, scored two first-half penalties as Gareth Southgate's side ran riot in Nizhny Novgorod stadium, securing a 5-0 half-time lead.
The Tottenham Hotspur striker scored his third and England's sixth goal deflecting a shot into the net, before he was substituted and replaced by Leicester city striker Jamie Vardy.
